THE 2010 AAMI Tasmanian Summer Racing Carnival promises to be the best in the event's history.

With the carnival will be staged over five weeks during January-February, comprising the best racing action in Australia during that time.

More interstate trainers and owners are being lured to Tasmania for what is rapidly becoming one of the best carnivals of its type on the national racing calendar.

The carnival begins on January 17 with Guineas Day at Tatteralls Park in Hobart and concludes on February 24 with the running of the AAMI Launceston Cup at Tasman Park.

As the Carnival grows in stature, so do the associated events. This now includes Gala Balls, Themed Race Days, Golf Day, Launceston Cup Calcutta and a multitude of Corporate Events.
